Using the Random Client Generator

Working with clients is almost always an educationally rewarding experience. However, sometimes finding appropriate real-life clients is impossible. The random client generator is designed to present an alternative solution to this problem.

1. Clicking the Generate button randomly selects two terms and displays them in the client boxes.
2. Taken together, these terms represent the name of a client.
3. Clicking either client box generates a new term without affecting the other client box.
4. Clicking the Generate button again generates new terms for each client box.

The generation of client names is 100% random and drawn from more than 80 unique terms. The terms don't always fit together perfectly but a better match is always just a click away.

Suggestions for Use:

• This tool does not keep track of client names. Make sure your students make note of the name of their client.
• Consider making a game of the client selection process by giving each student or group a set number of term randomizations.
• Consider generating multiple clients per student or group and letting them pick the client they think is best.
• Consider having each student or group develop an explaination as to who their client is and what their client does.
